Our Founder
Deep Lex was founded in 2024 by Gillian Forsyth, an international arbitration lawyer and AI enthusiast based in Paris.
My journey into AI began in 2021 whilst studying blockchain technology in international trade finance. What started as professional curiosity evolved into a passion for AI and its transformative potential.
As both a lawyer and an AI user, I’ve witnessed its remarkable capabilities—and understood the critical importance of its responsible development and use.
Recognising a gap in resources for legal professionals, I created Deep Lex to help colleagues understand and leverage AI effectively. The platform focuses on the intersection of technology, ethics and law, empowering lawyers to protect their clients’ interests in an increasingly complex AI-driven world.
